Introduction
Andy Caccavaro is the co-founder and CEO of Illumify, an AI-native ERP and MRP platform built for manufacturers, including CPG, nutraceuticals, agriculture, cannabis, and bakery operations. Before starting Illumify, Andy spent seven years at IBM working across enterprise ERP implementations and AI transformation initiatives, where he saw the same pattern play out again and again: companies spending millions on systems and licenses that still didn’t help teams act on their own data.
About Andy
Because traditional ERP is rigid and rarely built for how operators actually work, Andy watched teams fall back on spreadsheets to get anything done, patching together the workflows their software couldn’t support. His time leading AI transformation work at IBM gave him a close look at where AI actually moves the needle for operators versus where it’s just a feature checkbox. That combination is what led him to start Illumify: an agentic business platform built as a system of action, not just a system of record.

Andy worked on enterprise ERP implementations and AI transformation initiatives, where he saw firsthand how rigid, one-size-fits-all systems, and bolted-on AI features, left operators managing the gaps manually.
Outside of Illumify
Andy is based in Manhattan, NY. Outside of work, he’s a self-described foodie exploring NYC’s restaurant scene, a die-hard Patriots fan, and on a mission to play every one of the world’s top 100 golf courses.
